From
Sugar-fields to a Laborers' Home
The work of the Lord flourished wonderfully.
What now stands as the Don
Bosco College, whose Seminary is also known as the Carreņo House of
Formation, is a concrete example of these enduring lines. Before 1963,
the grounds, now christened as DBC, were mere sugar fields. God's graciousness
led its transformation into an institution very dear to the heart of Don
Bosco: inasmuch as it is the heart of the Salesians in the Philippines
- a place for educating and forming future members of the Salesians
of St. John Bosco. |
